Defense News ,Spanish :- GDELS Santa Bárbara Sistemas recently handed over four high-tech ASCOD "Castor" Armored Combat Vehicles (VCZAP) to the Spanish Army as part of the second phase of the Pizarro program.

The vehicles, which come with dozer blades, were accepted by officials from the Spanish Ministry of Defence’s Pizarro Program Office and the Armored Systems Park and Maintenance Center (PCMASA) number 1 of the Spanish Army, indicating their readiness for action.

The continuous delivery of these advanced armored vehicles is set to be completed by 2024, significantly boosting the Spanish Army’s engineering units’ capabilities.
