Spain Donates 19 Leopard 2A4 Battle Tanks to Ukraine

Defense News ,Spain :-  The Spanish Government has decided to give 19 Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks to Ukraine's Armed Forces. These tanks will be fixed up and made ready for use at the General Dynamics European Land Systems - Santa Barbara Sistemas place in Sevilla before being sent over.

These 19 tanks are coming from the Spanish Armed Forces' supplies, as confirmed by Spanish authorities.

General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) mentioned in a social media post that each tank will go through a thorough repair. This includes taking them apart, changing any broken parts, and putting them back together to make sure they work well in battles.

Starting from February 24, 2022, Spain has already given 10 Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks to Ukraine. Now, with these 19 more tanks, Ukraine has received or been promised over 100 Leopard 2 vehicles.

Before this, Ukraine had gotten at least 71 Leopard main battle tanks from different Western European countries. It's known from public sources that the Russian Armed Forces have damaged at least 14 of Ukraine's Leopard 2 tanks in battles.
