Security Forces Arrest 4 Suspected Terrorists Linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad in Srinagar

Defense News ,India :-  In Srinagar, the police and security forces caught four people they suspect are involved with a dangerous group called Jaish-e-Mohammad. These four were caught in the Kenihama area in Nowgam, which is on the outskirts of the city.


The police had received specific information, so they set up a checkpoint using mobile vehicles. While checking one vehicle, they found these four people who are thought to be linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammad group.


The names of these individuals are Mohammad Yaseen Bhat, Sheraz Ahmad Rather, Gulam Hassan Khandey, and Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat. They come from different places like Lcchnambal Zafran Colony Pantha Chowk and Frestabal Pampore.


The security forces discovered some dangerous items with them. These included an AK 56 rifle with three magazines, 75 rounds of ammunition, a Glock Pistol with two magazines, 26 rounds of ammunition, and six Chinese grenades.


After looking into the matter further, the police found that these individuals were connected to the Jaish-e-Mohammad group, which is considered a terrorist organization.


The police have taken action according to the law. They have registered a case under different laws such as the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, Arms Act, and Indian Penal Code. The investigation is still ongoing to gather more information about this incident.
