Pakistan conducts successful flight test of Fatah-II

Defense News ,Pakistan :- On Wednesday, Pakistan achieved a significant milestone with the successful flight test of its homegrown guided multi-launch rocket system, "Fattah-II." The army revealed that this advanced system boasts the capability to engage targets with remarkable precision within a range of 400 kilometres. According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media arm of the military, the "Fattah-II" is equipped with cutting-edge avionics, a sophisticated navigation system, and follows a unique flight trajectory.

Highlighting its prowess, the ISPR emphasized that the weapon system can effectively engage targets with high precision over an extensive distance of 400 kilometres. The launch event was attended by senior officers from all three military services, as well as dedicated scientists and engineers who played pivotal roles in the system development.

This achievement comes on the heels of Pakistan successful training launch of the Ghauri Weapon System at the end of October. Just a week prior to that, the country had conducted a flight test of the ballistic missile Ababeel Weapon System. Its worth noting that in August 2021, Pakistan had already demonstrated its technological capabilities with the successful test of the indigenously developed Fattah-1 guided multi-launch rocket system (MLRS).
