Norwegian Defence Minister Bjørn Arild Gram affirmed the significance of these assessments, stating, "The equipment can be sent within a relatively short time and will be crucial to strengthening the air defense against Russian attacks this winter." Responding to Ukraine request for increased NASAMS capabilities, Norway conducted thorough assessments to ensure its own military reserve could be sustained.
