NIA Arrested 13 ISIS members raids over 40 Locations in Karnataka & Maharashtra

On Saturday, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) executed operations resulting in the apprehension of at least 13 individuals in connection with the ISIS terror conspiracy case. The arrests took place in Pune, while simultaneous raids unfolded across more than 40 locations in Karnataka and Maharashtra.

The NIA, in collaboration with the police forces of Maharashtra and Karnataka, meticulously conducted searches at various sites. In Karnataka, one location was targeted, along with two in Pune, nine in Thane city, one in Bhayandar, and 31 in Thane Rural.

This series of raids is part of an ongoing effort by the anti-terror agency to address the alleged ISIS module in Maharashtra. The NIA initiated the case in June of this year, and in July, key arrests were made, including individuals such as Tabish Nasser Siddiqui from Mumbai, Zubair Noor Mohammed Shaikh (alias Abu Nusaiba) from Pune, Sharjeel Shaikh, Zulfikar Ali Barodawala from Thane, and Dr. Adnan Sarkar from Kondhwa, Pune.
