Khalistan Advocate Sentenced for Assaulting Two Indians at UK Independence Day Festivities

Defense News ,India :- Gurpreet Singh, a 26-year-old man from India who supports Khalistan, has been sent to jail for 28 months. This comes after he was found guilty of a violent attack during India's Independence Day celebration in Southall, UK.

Last year, during a special event celebrating India's Independence Day, Singh did something very dangerous. He attacked two men and a female police officer. He used a special sword called a kirpan. The court found out that he had three of these swords with him during the attack. One of them had a blade that was 20cm long.

The court acted quickly and punished Singh for his violent actions. This shows that the legal system in the UK doesn't tolerate violence, especially when it's fueled by extreme beliefs and targets cultural events. As part of his punishment, Singh has been told to give up all three of his kirpans.

This incident has caused a lot of tension in Southall, which is a neighborhood in London with many people from India living there. Leaders in the community are worried that this violence could make things worse and divide people even more.

The police are staying alert to prevent any more violence or people copying what Singh did. They want to keep everyone safe and make sure nothing like this happens again.
