Israeli Forces Neutralize Hamas Rocket Launchers in Gaza that Targeted Tel Aviv

Defense News ,Israel War :- Israeli soldiers operating in Gaza have successfully demolished Hamas rocket launchers that were used to launch a heavy barrage targeting the Tel Aviv area, as confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday. The barrage, which occurred on Monday, triggered alarms in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam, Rishon Lezion, and Holon, causing damage to several vehicles, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The destruction of the launchers was carried out through Air Force strikes directed by ground forces. Notably, one of the destroyed launchers was found to have additional mortars prepared for firing, according to the IDF.

Simultaneously, Israeli forces continued their operations in and around Khan Yunis, eliminating terrorists and seizing weapons. Khan Yunis, Gaza's second-largest city, is considered a key stronghold for Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

In central Gaza, a squad of terrorists armed with RPGs was targeted and eliminated in a drone strike after advancing towards Israeli soldiers. The IDF also reported the elimination of more terrorists and the seizure of weapons in military activities conducted in northern Gaza and the Shati area of central Gaza.

The article also highlighted the toll of previous attacks, noting that at least 1,200 people were killed in Hamas's attacks on Israeli communities near the Gaza border on October 7. Furthermore, it was reported that 136 individuals, including men, women, children, and soldiers, are currently held captive in Gaza by Hamas.
