Israel Releases image of killed Hamas Militants
The IDF (Israel Defence Forces) has unveiled previously undisclosed photographs discovered in Hamas terror tunnels, featuring five of the top-ranking members of its Northern Gaza Brigade who lost their lives during the conflict while seeking refuge in the tunnels. The images depict a gathering of terrorist commanders engaged in a meeting, indulging in fruits and soft drinks.
The Northern Gaza Brigade stands as the second-largest within the Hamas terrorist organization.
IDF forces targeted and eliminated the brigade commander, Ahmed Andor, the deputy commander, Vaal Rajab, along with other high-ranking officials, including the aid battalion commander and the head of observations in the northern Gaza Strip. The strike occurred in a tunnel where the Hamas commanders were hiding, situated beneath civilian residences and close to the Indonesian hospital.
Ahmed Andor held a position in the limited council of the military branch, overseeing the direction and management of all Hamas terrorist activities in the northern region of the Gaza Strip.
Simultaneously, alongside the neutralization of the Hamas commanders in the Northern Gaza Brigade, the commanders of the Beit Lahia battalion and the central Jabalia battalion also met their demise.
The IDF highlighted that the elimination of these terrorist leaders significantly impaired the Northern Brigade operational capabilities.
Additionally, IDF forces took down four battalion commanders from Hamas Gaza City Brigade, the largest within the organization. This included the commanders of the Sabra Battalion, the Shati Battalion, the Darj Tafah Battalion, and the Shajaiya Battalion.
The IDF reported substantial damage to the Sabra battalion, with the central command avenue commanders eliminated, rendering the battalion headquarters nonfunctional.
In the case of the Shati Battalion, IDF forces gained control of its central strongholds. This battalion holds responsibility for the central headquarters of Hamas, including the Shifa hospital. Furthermore, the heads of its anti-tank, air formation, and naval formations were eliminated.
