India-Saudi Arabia Joint Military Exercise 'SADA TANSEEQ' Gets Underway in Rajasthan

Defense News ,India :- In a significant development, the inaugural session of the joint military exercise between India and Saudi Arabia, titled 'SADA TANSEEQ,' commenced in Rajasthan on Monday. The exercise, designed to cultivate interoperability, camaraderie, and bonhomie among the participating troops, is scheduled to run until February 10.


According to the defense ministry's statement, the Royal Saudi Land Forces are representing the Saudi Arabian contingent, consisting of 45 personnel, while the Indian Army contingent, also comprising 45 personnel, is represented by a battalion from the Brigade of the Guards (Mechanised Infantry).


The primary objective of the exercise is to provide training for joint operations in semi-desert terrain, adhering to Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter. The focus is on sharing best practices in tactics, techniques, and procedures related to sub-conventional domain operations.


The exercise will involve various activities such as establishing mobile vehicle check posts, conducting cordon and search operations, practicing house intervention drills, refining reflex shooting, slithering, and sniper firing techniques. Officials anticipate that the exercise will facilitate the development of strong bonds and enhance mutual understanding between the troops.


Highlighting the significance of 'SADA TANSEEQ,' the statement emphasizes that the exercise serves as a platform to achieve shared security objectives, elevate defense cooperation levels, and strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
