India Army Opens Fire After Pakistani Drone Spotted Along LoC in J-K's Rajouri

Defense News ,India :-  In a recent incident along the Line of Control (LoC) in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian Army took proactive measures in response to suspected infiltration attempts and the presence of a Pakistani drone. Officials detailed two separate occurrences during the overnight period spanning Sunday to Monday.

At the onset, military personnel stationed in the Sunderbani sector detected the movement of a Pakistani quadcopter, prompting immediate action. Upon observation, the drone was fired upon with at least four rounds as it breached Indian airspace. Consequently, the drone withdrew to the opposite side of the LoC, indicating a successful deterrence by the Indian troops.

Simultaneously, in the Keri sector, suspicious movements were observed, believed to be individuals attempting infiltration from across the border. Swift response ensued as troops discharged several rounds to thwart their advance. Subsequently, the suspected intruders fled back towards Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, evading capture.

Following these events, a comprehensive search operation was launched to ensure the absence of any dropped payloads by the drone or lingering threats from the suspected infiltrators. As of the latest reports, the operation remains ongoing, demonstrating the Indian Army's unwavering commitment to maintaining security along the LoC.
