IAF Officer Objects to "Fighter" Movie Kissing Scene in Uniform,Issued Legal Notice

Defense News ,India :- The people who made the movie "Fighter," starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, are facing a legal notice from an IAF officer. The notice is not representing the Indian Air Force's views but is sent personally by a Wing Commander.

This officer from Assam is upset about a kissing scene in the movie where the actors are wearing the IAF uniform. According to the officer, this scene disrespects the IAF and doesn't show the true dignity of the force. The officer thinks it undermines the sacrifices made by many IAF officers.

The movie, directed by Siddharth Anand, was released on January 25 and is meant to be a tribute to the bravery, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian armed forces. The story revolves around a new and elite unit called Air Dragons, responding to terrorism in the Srinagar Valley. The film portrays them as the first responders to hostile activities, made up of the best combat aviators selected from the IAF. "Fighter" explores their dedication to the nation, facing both internal and external battles.
