The Austrian Ministry of Defence and the Dutch Ministry of Defence recently inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the procurement of Embraer C-390M aircraft. This MoU signifies a concrete step towards bolstering the respective countries' defense capabilities.

According to the agreement, the Netherlands will purchase nine Embraer C-390 Millennium aircraft from the Brazilian manufacturer, Embraer. Out of these nine, four will be allocated to the Austrian Armed Forces. The anticipated delivery of the first aircraft to Austria is slated for 2027.
