Anti-Tank Guided Missile Firing Exercise Successfully Conducted in Harsh Cold Conditions by Northern Command

Defense News ,India :-  In a recent practice, the Indian Army's Northern Command displayed their strong commitment to being ready for battle. Despite harsh winter weather, soldiers practiced using weapons like Anti-Tank Guided Missiles (ATGMs), mortars, and rocket launchers with precise accuracy. They showed they can handle these weapons well even in extreme cold.

A video posted by the Army on social media showed soldiers shooting at targets in freezing temperatures. The practice aimed at achieving precise targeting, ensuring that each missile hits its target, especially armored threats.

This recent drill highlights the Indian Army's continuous effort to stay prepared across all their units. It comes after a similar successful practice by the Eastern Command in February, where they also used ATGMs. The February exercise involved over 1500 soldiers, more than 260 missiles, and the Trishakti Corps.

Being able to use advanced weapons effectively, even in tough conditions, is essential for India's defense strategy. These practices show the Indian Army's strong dedication to staying ready for action at all times.
