 Denmark Agree to Sell 24 F-16 Fighter Jets to Argentina

Defense News ,Denmark ,Argentina :-  The Minister of Defence for Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen, and Argentina’s Minister of Defence, Luis Alfonso Petri, met in Buenos Aires to sign an important agreement. They agreed to sell 24 Danish F-16 fighter jets to Argentina.


Troels Lund Poulsen expressed his satisfaction with the deal. He said, “I had a good meeting with my colleague from Argentina. Argentina will soon join the group of nations that use F-16 jets worldwide. We worked together with the United States to make this deal happen.”


This decision to sell the Danish jets was made with the approval of the American government, which manufactures these aircraft.


Denmark is replacing its old F-16 jets with new F-35 jets. As part of this process, Denmark will donate 19 F-16 jets to Ukraine. Additionally, the Danish government decided to sell 24 F-16 jets to Argentina. Troels Lund Poulsen expressed his pleasure at signing the agreement with his Argentine counterpart in Buenos Aires.
